The H3 Circle provides pupils in Grades 3 to 6
an opportunity to explore mathematics beyond the classroom curriculum in
a collaborative, small-group setting. Interesting math questions are
drawn from a variety of sources including past exams from highly
regarded mathematics competitions
The objective of the H3 Circle is to stimulate
children's mathematical curiosity. Hopefully, experiencing the wonders
of math will result in a positive attitude toward the subject that will
serve them well throughout their formal education and beyond.
When:
Fridays, 2:30 p.m. in the 4-Rizal classroom.
Participants:
All pupils in Grades 3 through 6 that are interested in pursuing
mathematics further are welcome to join us! However, they MUST pass the qualifying examination before joining the club. Participation in math
competitions is not required but encouraged.
Mentor:
The
current H3 Circle Mentor is Nico Calunia, a faculty of Xavier University Grade School.
